Ms. Legislador practices in general civil litigation, including employment law, probate and real estate matters. She graduated from Drake University in 2000 with departmental honors in her major area of Psychology, and from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2003, With Distinction. Ms. Legislador is admitted to practice in all Iowa Courts and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Iowa.

During her law school career, Ms. Legislador participated in the University of Iowa College of Law legal clinic, practicing under the guidance of attorney professors, and was the recipient of the Michelle R. Bennett Award for Outstanding Client Service.

Ms. Legislador served as a law clerk intern for the Honorable John A. Jarvey, Chief Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court, Northern District of Iowa during her last semester of law school. She continued as a law clerk for Judge Jarvey until she joined the firm in 2006.
